Come and spend half a day with us learning how to make your own Tuscan garden!

Italian gardens evoke images of rambling creepers over farm house walls, stately Villas, olive groves, lemon trees, herbs, borders, terracotta pots and culinary produce. We cover it all!

Our classes are held at Villa Franca just outside Lucca in the beautiful Lucchesian countryside. Lucca is one hour from Florence or half and hour from Pisa. Our passionate designer, Simone, is a very knowledgeable teacher and you will learn so much! You will be given useful class notes and follow up assistance when you return to Australia.

The course was one of the highlights of my time in Italy!

It was a wonderful experience to be invited behind the walls of a Tuscan Villa and to be taught by such a knowledgeable and passionate gardener. We were treated to some superb Tuscan cooking which we ate whilst overlooking the olive grove to the sound of the church bells ringing from the nearby town. What an idyllic garden and location.

Local produce and wines ares served during the classes and lunch and dinner are available on request at Villa Franca.

Tuscan gardens have a rich historical tradition in Italy. They have formed backdrops in film, photography, literature and art. Enjoy the experience of learning how they are made in a beautiful setting.
