The beautiful 9th Century Villa Franca is 5 kilometres from Lucca.
We will meet you in a central location in the old city of Lucca and drive you to the Villa or give you a map if you have your own car.

The classes are fascinating and practical. Our gardener Simone, takes you around the park of the Villa giving you an insight to the traditions and beauty of a truly delightful Tuscan garden.

Duration : approximately 4 hours including class notes and followed by a light lunch of local produce and wines.

While you eat, Franca, who is a superb cook will explain the garden/kitchen connection of the foods. Herbs and sauces, local cheeses, home made pasta and traditional recipes are all in the mix of tastings you will delight in. She even uses her own olive oil grown on the property!
